Easter& back to the Burg

Well this weekend was full of Easter festivites and fun! The weekend flew right by we were so busy. Friday we went to the new City Creek mall with one of my besties in Utah, Aubrey and her hubby Marcus! It was soo fun! The mall is outdoors and massive. They mostly have stores that we could never afford like Tiffany's, coach, and Godiva chocolate . But we were able to score on some awesome deals at H&M!! It was just so fun to walk around and look at all of the neat stores with good friends. I will post the pics later from that night.

Saturday we spent the gorgeous sunny day doing a little more shopping for Kennedy to complete her Easter outfit, and we also went on a walk to the park. Kennedy is so out going she said hi to every single kid there. That girl is going to be one popular little chick. She is not shy one bit.

Sunday was such a gorgeous sunny Eater day! It was such a great day to reflect on the atonement of the Savior. While that is mostly what Easter means for me it was also nice to spend time with my family and get Kennedy all dolled up in her Easter dress, (which my awesome father and mother in law got for Kennedy:)! She looked so cute and she had so much fun joining in on the Easter festivities with her  cousins. She would get so excited in the Easter egg hunt every time she found an egg..it was soo stinkin cute! Here are some pics from that day..

In other news we are headed back up to Rexburg today! We are mostly all packed and I cant wait to get back. This has been such an awesome experience for us and we have been so blessed for things to work out the way they have. Kelin had a hard time saying good bye to everyone yesterday because he has really grown to love it there. He learned so much and I am so proud of him! I cant wait for the journey that lies ahead! Kelin starts back in school this coming Tuesday and will graduate in exactly one year(3 semesters)!! We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Kelin has never taken a semester off since we have been married. He seriously has been doing a great job and woking soo hard. Of course their are things we will miss about Utah but we mostly just cant wait to get back and have our own space and little home back:)! The pros definitely out way the cons:)

So over the weekend on Saturday my sister Christine ran a 5k! Yes this is the same race I was supposed to be running in:(, however I wasnt able to due to some recent news. Kennedy and I still went to support her and cheer her on though! Kelin had to work that saturday morning so unfortunately he wasnt able to make it! It was very windy that day and we ended up forgeting the stroller which wasnt a very smart decision lol!! I ended up chasing that girl around for about 2 hours! Christine did awesome and didnt stop to walk once which was her goal. I love my sister and was proud of her for accomplishing one of her goals!

Kelin and I had a pretty relaxing weekend and didnt do much! It was also snowing and cold all weekend so I think that contributed..but it was still nice just to take a break from doing things and rest! On Sunday Kennedy had her very first day in nursery!! This was a very exciting and big day for us because we have pretty much been counting down the days Kennedy could go to nursery since she could crawl. She is technically not suppose to go to nursery until she is 18 months and she is only 16 in a half, however she is so outgoing and independent  that the lady in charge of nursery told me she could start coming!!:) I was a little neervous once Sudnay rolled around but I knew she would LOVE it! She is always so bored in relief society and sunday school that I knew she would love having other little kids to play with instead of just sitting in a quiet room. When we dropped her off she immediatley started playing with the other girls and helping them put stuff in a pile. This girl is going to be one popular chick! She is so outgoing and friendly that she just amazes me. Kelin and I had such a nice relaxing time in our meetings actually being able to listen to what the speakers were saying! It might seem silly that this was just an exciting thing in our lives ha but for many Sundays we have been looking forward to the day she would go to nursery! I am so happy it worked out well and that she loved it. My little baby is no longer a baby but a super active little toddler. It makes me so happy and sad at the same time to see the beautiful little girl she is coming to be so quickly. Everyday she says new words and does new things. Some of her most recent new developments are..
-saying "thank you" whenever you hand her something
-saying "love you"
-she said "bless you" to Kelin tonight after he sneezed haha it was so cute!
-loading everything from the washer to the dryer
-coloring is her new fave hobbie
We are just loving out little Kennedy! Well in other news we are down to less than 1 month until we head back to Rexy..which I am having mixed feelings about. I cant wait to be back in our own home with our own space! Also being back in our old ward will be nice. Kelin is looking forward to being back in school and..GRADUATING! Just 3 more semester left so he will be graduated in one year in April 2013. I cant believe how fast it is coming! I remember when we first got married and he only had one semester down and a life time to go. Now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am so pround of Kelin for working so hard in his classes and going year round without any breaks. I know alot of the reason he works so hard is to be able to provide for his family and I am so grateful to be married to such an awesome guy! Some of the things I will miss about living in Provo is being in a bigger town, family, and plenty of space to run around with Kennedy. But I def think the pros of going back def out way the cons! Anyways I know I have been wriiting a novel but it is almost 10 and I am exhausted. Good night!:)

Birthday Weekend!

So this weekend I got to celebrate my bday with my side of the fam! My mom picked me, Kennedy, and my sister up and took us back to Bountiful for a sleepover. Kelin came up when he got off from work! That night we had a nice dinner at my Grandma's house and it was soo good. We had my fave meal ever tostadas and my very favorite strawberry and whip cream cake! Yes I am def going on a diet this week! After we watched my favorite movie Breaking Dawn for the 5th time for me:) ha! The next day we woke up and headed over to the zoo! It was such a gorgeous day and was in the 60s! It was super crowded but we didnt mind. Kennedy loved the zoo. Her favorite animals were the monkey and the lions. As soon as she saw the monkey she said, "woooow"!! Haha it was super cute. After the zoo we had dinner and headed back to Provo! It was such a great time and it always makes me sad to leave my family after spending a weekend with them.

Tonight we finished the weekend by celebrating my bday with Kelin's side of the fam. All of the cousins came over and we had homemade pizzas and red velvet cupcakes. Have I mentioned I am going on a diet this week lol? Kennedy has so much fun with her little cousins! She sure is going to miss them when we head back to the Burg. She has also started saying "nigh nigh" to everyone when it is her bed or nap time. This weekend Kelin is taking me bday shopping to spend my money..yay!!:) This weekend went by soo fast and was so much fun! Waaah I cant believe tomorrow is already monday and Kelin has to go back to work! Oh well hopefully it is a great week:)! Here are some pics from this weekend..Enjoy!!

Fun times with Kennedy:)

So one of the greatest things about living in Utah is being close to my family! I get to see my sister Christine who is at BYU and lives 5 min away, and my mom and younger sister Kailey who live about an hour away in Bountiful. My mommy has come up to Lehi to see me like 5 times and I have loved it! One of the fun things we got to do over presidents day was go to Chuck e Cheese! Unfortunately Kelin and Chrisitine couldnt go because they had work and school. It was so nice of my mom and Kailey to take us because obviously Kennedy is the only one who would truly be excited haha! When we got there Kennedy was going crazy running all over the place trying to get on every ride and get into everything that she could. It was so fun to see her in that environment. It was funny though because she didnt like any of the rides when we put a coin in them and they started moving. All she wanted to do was look at Chuckee and eat her pizza haha!

Well we have about a month and a half left here in Utah! Time has been going so fast and we have been having so much fun! The weather in Orem has still been pretty great despite a little bit of snow here and there. I am able to take Kennedy on walks most days however, which is so nice because for 1 whole hour Kennedy isnt able to make a mess, run around, or break things! Yes its great lol! Kennedy has so much energy that by the end of the day I pratically pass out ha! I just love her outgoing energetic little personality though. Kelin is still loving his internship and Kennedy and I miss him when he's gone but we get to spend lots of time with him on the week nights/weekends. Kelin's bday was on feb 23rd and I am not allowed to make a big deal out of it because doesnt let me:) ha! But it was really nice, we went to sushi as a family and opened presents. On Sunday alot of his relatives came over for another bday dinner.  My bday is coming up in less then 2 weeks on March 13th. I am soo excited because I love my bday haha its the best day ever!I think we are going to see the Hunger Games for my bday because Kelin and I are both obsessed!! So I have to blog about a few of the new things Kennedy is now doing..
-says "uh oh" constantly
-says" hi" to ever single person she sees
-puts on all of her daddies ties that she finds in the closet and says "bye dad"
We just fall more in love with this little girl everday!

Lately:)

So not much has changed since my last post! The weather here in Provo has been beautiful these past 2 weeks:)! Kennedy and I have have spent alot of time outside on walks and playing in the back yard! I am soo thankful for the sunshine because staying inside all day makes me go crazy!! Kelin is still working hard at his job and is still loving it! I love seeing him come home with a big smile telling me all that he has learned/did that day. We are still loving it here in Utah and having fun with our little Kennedy. Kennedy has also been having lots of fun with her cousins who come over a couple times a week and for Sunday dinner! I am honestly sooooo baby hungry, especially when I see Kennedy playing so good with her cousins. She has so much fun with them and is so sweet and cute to them! So hopefully some day in the near future she will have one..or two more siblings:)!
