30 weeks!

30 weeks..let the count down begin!! I absolutely cannot believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! 10 weeks at the most and we will be holding our little girl! I had an appt yesterday and discussed the option of having a c-section again since I did with Kennedy but I told my doctor I would only want to do that if he would be the one to do it ha! At my doctors office their is 3 different doctors that could be possibly be the one to deliver you depending on who is working that day/night. The reason I was considering doing a c-section was because it seems so easy. You schedule when you go in and then a couple hours later you have your baby! The down side to having a c-section the second time is that all of the rest of you babies from that point on would have to be delivered c-section also. So we decided I would wait until my due date to decide. Hopefully she will come early and I will just have a VBAC. Kennedy was tangled in my cord and that was the reason I wasnt able to have her vaginally last time. I have faith and feel good that everything will work out really easy this time!  I have been keeping active and that is supposed to help with easy labor. We are getting everything ready for Kensi and even got her some new outfits! Kennedy is excited I think..she will always put her head on my belly and rub it. She is going to be the best sister ever! I have been feeling great and haven't had any more cramps or pains for the past week and a half! I still get some braxton hicks but other than that this pregnancy is back to being a breeze! I feel so blessed to be having my second baby and to be married to the man of my dreams. Its to nice to be able to savor the time we have together while still being a family of 3 because we will never have that again. So exciting to be expanding our family I just dont want Kennedy to feel left out or forgotten. We have been having so much fun this break together as a family that it makes me sad he is starting school this Monday! At the same time however, we are so ready for him to graduate that we want to get this semester started! It will also be nice to be on a schedule again! And their will be lots of fun Fall activities that we are looking forward too:)

29 weeks:)

So I am not uploading a pic this week because i have decided I will do those every 2 weeks! I dont look much different from last week anyway lol. I do want to do a survey however, because this week has really brought a lot of changes and I want to document them. This third trimester is sure beginning to throw me for a loop! I am hungry constantly, have swollen achy calves, and braxton hicks contractions! Should I mention its only been one week of the third tri?!! Ha I am trying to be positive and hope it gets better cause it hasn't been all that bad it just feels like I am actually pregnant now lol. I refuse to give up my daily walks and being active because I enjoy it to much and also because I hear it helps with the aches and pains. I also try and buy only healthy snacks at the store because even if I am having to snack constantly I would still like to be somewhat healthy:)! 2 more weeks until Kelin starts school and he is super excited. I have sure appreciated all of his help since he has been home this break!  He lets me lay down and prop up my feet whenever I am contracting or experiencing crampy calves. We went on campus yesterday and got all of his books for this semester! He is really excited for all of his classes. Kennedy is growing faster than ever and will be 22 months on the 4th of Sept! She is going to be the best big sister. She is such a sweetheart and is constantly trying to help me with all of my daily "chores". I sure do love my little growing family!

In other news we are still just plugging along enjoying the nice Rexburg summer weather! About 3 more week until Kelin starts school. Where has the break gone? I love that he is home right now and that we all get to spend time together because he's normally crazy busy during school! September is next Saturday, and to me this is when Fall officially starts!!! I have been waiting for Fall for 5 months! Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year in Rexburg! The weather is perfect and you get to wear all of the cute Fall clothes:)! Too bad it doesnt last long enough, But while its here I LOVE every second. Also Halloween is in the Fall and I am really looking forward to taking Kennedy trick or treating. Oh and I am having a baby in the Fall..ya lots of exciting things! Kennedy and I even made choc chip pumpkin muffins the other day to start the season off right:)! Kennedy has loved pumpkin ever since she has been in the womb, Whenever I would eat any sort of pumpkin treat that girl would bounce around in my tummy as happy as can be, Kensington hasn't really shown any interest in any particular food yet. She just moves around a lot and kicks constantly. She is the sweetest little thing! Soo grateful and excited to have her in our family! Life if fabulous! Oh and here is a pic of the cutest girl in the world today at the park:) How is she almost 22 months old?!

26 weeks!

So I am still a week behind haha tomorrow I am 27 weeks but I will catch up eventually. I cant believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! Everything is going great and this pregnancy has been a breeze so far. I cant believe that in one week I will be in my third trimester! Totally crazy!! I am getting pretty excited/nervous about getting everything ready for baby Kensington's arrival. That includes double jogging stroller, white dresser, and twin bed/bedding for Kennedy. I have been looking and finding pretty good deals on those things so we plan on having everything by the end of this month. Kelin starts school in September so we want to have everything mostly done so he can focus on school. Nesting is kicking in full gear for me and I am planning on deep cleaning Kennedy's room and closet this week! Kensington might start out sleeping in our room but the girls will eventually share a room so I want to get everything all ready.

24 weeks!

So this week I am really 26 weeks but we were out of town for the past three weeks so I am a post late. Below is my 24 week pic and survey which we were in Utah for. We went to Utah for about a week to be with my fam and then straight to Chicago from Utah to be with Kelin's family for 10 days! It was a great trip and boy were we spoiled! It was awesome, but we are still super excited to be back to our own home and schedule! Life is just great:)

23 weeks!

Soo I am 23 weeks tomorrow and I am feeling great! One annoying thing that has started off and on is my tail bone will hurt like crazy some days. Mostly after I have been sitting for longer than half an hour at a time! So that would be mostly on Sundays when I sit for 3 hours at church:)! Other than that I am having a great pregnancy and have been blessed to have one! Having Kennedy would make a difficult pregnancy nearly impossible to handle. I have been running about 4 times a week and I take it pretty easy and go at a slow pace. It feels nice to still be able to do that! I get a little crampy in my tummy when I run but I am assuming this is normal? Ha better ask my OB to be safe huh!!

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 3 pounds. I weigh myself every Tuesday/Wed at the same time. Today it said I had lost a pound from last week. Not quite sure how that works?

Maternity clothes? Nope! Nope jeggings and long shirts for now.

Stretch marks? No new ones from this pregnancy:)

Best moment this week: I just love feeling her. She isn't as active as Kennedy was but she kicks a lot at night and a little throughout the day:)

Miss anything: Running and feeling completely comfortable!

Movement: Lots!

Food cravings: PB, fruit, and greek yogurt with granola! Yumm:)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, luckily.

Have you started to show yet: Yep!

  Gender: Girl!

In other news, Kelin finishes this semester off tomorrow! Then it is 7 weeks of freedom and relaxation. Kelin will start school back up in the Fall/September and graduate 2 semester later in April! Woo hoo only 2 semester left. How blessed we are to have been able to get through schooling so fast in our marriage and still take care of our family while I have always been a stay at home mom! I am grateful for BYUI! Kennedy is as happy and active as ever.. I love that little girl. I hope her and Kensington will be best friends! I know I have loved growing up with a sister 2 years younger than me and I know Kennedy will love it also! I cant believe I am 6 months pregnant and in just a few months we will have 2 sassy girls running around. I am sure it will be crazy for a while but Kelin and I are sure excited!!
