So one of the girls in our ward makes these amazing headbands and baby clothes and asked Kennedy if she  would model some of her new stuff for her face book page. Of course I was thrilled and said yes right away!  I LOVE how the photos turned out. So we have been soo busy lately and I have been terrible at blogging,,as you can tell! And sorry for not completing the 10 day challenge haha:) but it was fun while it lasted! Fall semester has started for Kelin and he is enjoying most of his classes. He is looking for an internship for this upcoming Winter semester in January, so we are praying that everything will work out with that! We are hoping to get out of the Burg for a semester ha. Kennedy is growing faster than ever and will be one years old in less then a month! Seriously time goes by so fast and I never really understood when parents would complain about their children growing up so fast until I had my own! We are becoming pretty baby hungry I am not going to lie, and I want Kennedy to have someone to play with. Kelin will be graduating in 3 semesters and so the ideal time to get prego would be August so we would have the baby a month before he graduates. Another exciting thing that I just found out is that we will be going to Chicago for Thanksgiving. We are so excited and graetful to Kelin's parents for buying us plane tickets. We are also excited because all of Kelin's brothers will also be in Chicago for Thanksgiving! It will be so much fun and we can hardly wait. Not much else is going on besides the weather. Everyday it seems to get colder, windier, and darker! In Rexburg this means its about to snow. So sad:(! Kennedy and I love our daily walks to the park. I am going to have to get some new craft ideas to occupy my time because I am going to have plenty of it in winter. I am using this blog as a journal to document our busy lives so I am going to try and be better at blogging more often. Anyways here are some recent pics of our little princess..enjoy:)

It was actually really hard for me to think of 7 things because I honestly have everything I have ever wanted. I have already married the man of my dreams and have the sweetest little baby. Of course their are things I am looking forward to such as, Kelin graduating, and expanding our family and stuff. I just want to cherish and savor each moment of my life because time goes so fast and I dont want to waste it wishing for things in the future. Anyways, not to much is going on! We just got back from Utah 2 weeks ago and had an absolute blast! So thankful to all the people who spoiled us and made time to see us. Kelin hasnt had to work this week so Kennedy and I have been very spoiled by seeing him the whole day every day and we absolutely loved it! Kennedy cannot get enough of her daddy and giggles whenever he is around. Its so cute! I have been busy with walking lots and doing crafts. I will post some of my recent projects I just finished. Fall semester starts back up for Kelin in 3 weeks so until then we will be partying it up enjoying him before its back to the grind. Fall is my favorite season in Rexburg because its absolutley perfect weather and all the leaves change pretty colors. I wish it lasted longer! Also halloween is coming up and I am more excited than ever because I get to dress Kennedy up and take her trick or treating. Having a baby just makes every holliday one hundered times better! So many exciting things to look forward too:)! Until then we are going to keep enjoying summer and workin on my tan!

10 day you challenge: 8 fears

Hellooooo! Its a rainy day today and I must say that I LOVE it:)! I love being inside with my cute fam watching tv and spening quality time. Its also a nice break from the blazing heat. Today is going to be great!!

1. Cancer or anyone in my family getting cancer.
2. Airplanes, well riding on them! They absolutely terrify me!
3. Sharks or swimming in a pool at night when you cant see the bottom.
4. Not being a good enough momma or wife
5. Not using my time wisely and accomplishing all that I would like
6. Anyone that I am close to passing away.
7. Snakes. I have nightmares.
8. Big dogs. Not a fan!

10 day you challenge: 9 loves

1. My husband, daughter, and extended family
2. My Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the gospel
3. The SUNSHINE (love warm weather and being tan)
4. Traveling (obviously dont get to do much of this being on a college budget but one day will travel lots.)
5. Fashion, totally and completely fascinated by it!
6. Crafts, lately I have been really into doing little craft projects here and there! I am nowhere near as good as some people but it is def becoming one of my passions.
7. Working out! Tennis, running, basketball,anything really! I just love working out and getting endorphins.
8. Spending time with and visiting the people I love. This upcoming week we will be going to Utah and will see many people I love dearly. We will get to see my mom, mother in law, sister, granparents, uncles, aunts, cousins. Haha yes lots of people:)
9. Cooking, I am always looking online for new recipes and trying new meal ideas. I have a major sweet tooth so I really like making desserts also:)!

What a beautiful day it is today! Went on a run and felt the beautiful sunshine kissing my skin! Not a better feeling in the world:). Now I am going to spend the day playing with my beautiful baby and cleaning the house. My hunny will be working until 10 tonight so I might just have to do some deep cleaning to keep myself occupied!!

10 day you challenge:10 secrets

1. I am absolutely terrified of flying! Whenever I absolutely have to fly I will hyperventilate everytime their is any turbulance at all. Seriously, ask my hubby or sister!! I totally drive them crazy when flying.
2. I gave up going to college and getting a degree to have my baby, and I couldnt be happier! I feel like being a mommy and a house wife is the greatest job on the planet and that I am born to do it. I wake up every morning feeling like the luckiest girl on the planet!
3. I am my toughest critic and am constantly feeling like I never do good enough. Maybe this makes me a perfectionist? If I dont do something absolutely perfect then I beat myself up about it inside.
4. I have a serious sweet tooth and alot of times would take an ice cream cone over having dinner or lunch any day:)! Yes this drives my husband crazy!
5. I have a serious love for clothes and shopping! I know most girls love to shop but I think I could spend my whole day at the mall just looking at all of the styles of clothing. Even when I am just walking down the street I am always noticing what people are wearing. Most of the time I will remember what someone was wearing the day before rather then their name!
6. Sometimes after a long busy week I just need to chill on the couch with my family and crash. It is hard for me to constantly be on the go without any down time.
7. I am incredibly east going. You know those high maintiance girls that have to have everything perfect? Well I am the complete opposite. Through life experinces I have learned you just have to go with the flow. This attitude has made me who I am today.
8. My life motto is "come what may and love it" this quote was given my President Monson and I absulotely LOVE it. What a great example he is in my life. As long as you have faith in Heavenly Father and a brightness of hope everything will be ok. Life is so beautiful and should be spent being happy!
9. I am a serious home body. My husband is my perfect match because he is the same way. We would much rather be curled up together on the couch watching a good movie then being out on the town!
10. I am the happiest I have ever been in my whole life. I have the most amazing daughter and husband in the world and I feel so grateful to be blessed with them. Everyday I try to be the best I can be for them:)

I am doing this challenge to take up some spare time and also because it will make me a more consisten blogger. Often times I become bored of blogging and dont know what to write about. This will keep me entertained:) On a side note, here is a pic of my girl grocery shopping with mommy and daddy! (Yes my hubby does grocery shop with me and I love it more then anything:))

4th of July

I know we are almost in Aug but I totally spaced posting about our 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful day starting with the Idaho Falls parade! Kennedy was a good sport and was quite entertained by all of the floats and people. After that we went shopping and had lunch. We went to our friends mom's house after and played games until the fire works. Kennedy had about had it by them so we had to leave about a minute after the fire works started. It was ok though because she was such a good little trooper the whole day I didnt mind leaving early! We even missed all of the traffic:)! Here are some pics of our great day..

Summa time:)

I know I always say its finally the summer time but I am pretty sure its safe to say its here for good..hopefully:) we have been spending lots of family time at the park lately and I love it! Its hotter then ever here and that makes me soo happy! I love my little family so much and spending time with them makes me the happiest girl in the world! So grateful I get to be with them for eternity!!

Kennedy is now 15 pounds and 6 months old! Time is flying by and we are loving every second of our time watching little Kennedy grow. Can you believe she is already 6 months! Looking forward to spending this summer with our little Kennedy:)

Summer is officially here!

And we absolutely LOVE it!! Kennedy and I have layed out in the sunshine twice already! At first she was hyperventilating because she had never felt the warmth of sunshine in her life..poor girl! Dont worry though, because now she cant get enough of it! Kelin is busier than ever this semester but he is enjoying his classes because they are mostly all accounting classes. He is doing an awesome job though juggling his classes, work, and being an excellent daddy/husband! He will be graduating next fall so in almost one year! I couldn't have picked a better man to marry:)! We are having so much fun everyday just being together and Kennedy really brightens up our home so much! I am so ecstatic that is it once again summertime and we get to bask in the sunlight for 4 short months! We are so grateful for them though! Rexburg is even finally opening up an outdoor pool! Woohooo i cannot wait to finally be able to go swimming with my family outdoors! Oh and this weekend is mother day weekend and Kelin and i are both so grateful to have such wonderful mothers in our lives. Both of our moms are such great examples to me of the woman I would like to become one day. I cant believe that I also get to celebrate this special holiday! Being a mom is the most wonderful job I could have ever imagine having. I feel more love and happiness around Kennedy than I ever imagined I could possible feel. How grateful I am to my Heavenly Father to have given me such a wonderful husband and daughter. I am truly blessed to have each of them in my life and they make each day the best day of my life.

5 months

Kennedy is 5 months old today! Can you believe it? She just gets more and more beautiful everday.

One Week

Their is exactly one week left of this semester and I must say that I am ecstatic! No I am not going to school but when the other half of me is going (husband) ha it still affects me. Not that I am not so grateful that my hubby can be getting an education year round we just need a little break. This coming Thurs. we will be going to Bountiful UT and I will be able to see many people that I love dearly. My grandparents will get to meet Kennedy for the first time and I cannot wait for her to meet them. Also, I get to see my best friend Katie who is getting married in May! She is having a bridal shower the day after we get into town. I am also very excited to show off my sweet baby girl to many of the people in Utah who are just dying to see her. Their is also many other things that will be doing that week but I must say we are mostly just excited to relax. Because Kelin is still going to school I live my life by semesters still rather than months.  This 3 months semester has been absolutely awesome tho! Prob my favorite of all time. Kennedy is getting to be a fun age and she just gets cuter by the day. I am so smitten by that little girl. Kelin and I have made a lot of new friends in our ward this semester and that has been awesome! We have been more social this semester than ever before! Oh and I am training to run a 5k! I am so incredibly excited because I love to run, and this 5k will give me something to train for and keep me going. I feel so grateful for all that I have and to be at the point in my life that I am at. I just feel so happy and grateful every day when I wake up and get out of bed. The gospel is something that has truly blessed in my life and I just feel so lucky to have it. I  know that Heavenly Father is looking out for me and my family:) oh and general conference is this weekend and I seriously cant wait!          

oh and p.s. the signs of summer are starting to show:) I was able to run outside today without being cold. LOVE summertime.

All I want is..

All I  want right now is the sunshine!! Everything else in my life is great! But really I am missing the sun:( being from California I took for granted being able to see the sunshine basically the whole year long. Now we get to see the sun 3 months out of the year. All I want to do is walk Kennedy to the park in her stroller and bask in the sunlight! Kelin and I def love Idaho but warm weather is lacking for sure! Some things we do during these snowy months are..
Netflix- seriously the greatest invention ever! Especially because we can stream movies and TV shows through our ps3! Our show we are watching right now is Heroes! We are obsessed! And I love Hayden Paniterre! We are already on the 2nd season and we just started watching on Saturday.
Games- with friends is another way that we stay entertained! I am not a huge game person but I love getting together with friends! Oh and wathing Kelin is fun because he is super competitive in everything..especially games!
Baking- another way I stay sane! I really enjoy it actually which is surprising because in college(2 years ago) I couldn't even make mac and cheese! But I am progressively becoming better at this which is good for my cute fam because I def dont want them to starve!
Wallmart- one of our favorite places to go! Haha may sound weird but we love it!
Our lives may sound lame but we are sure having fun!!
